This was awesome!!! Great explanation and I liked your yoda model :) cute! We loved the thirsties covers too!!! Prefolds weren’t my favorite but we did use them a few times as a newborn, and they really work just fine. Is it hard to use them now as she gets more wiggly during changes? Ava rolls and it’s a challenge at times to change her with snapped pocket diapers.

I really liked this video and we don’t even cloth diaper! I enjoy how informative you are. :) You’re daughter is GORGEOUS by the way and you say the dipes makeher butt look bulky but I’ve seen much bulkier fluffy butts with other cloth diaper systems. Good video!!

  8. natsjourney77 says:

Thank you! Yeah, I guess the bulkiness really isn’t that bad.

  9. natsjourney77 says:

@rljjlove1 I would suggest at least 5 or 6 covers. It depends on how often you wash your diapers. Usually you don’t have to change the cover unless it gets really wet or gets poopy on it. Otherwise you can use it through quite a few changes and then throw it in the wash with the cloth diapers. I did not have to strip my diapers, you just wash them a few times before using them. :) Good luck! I’m sure you’ll love cloth diapering

  10. natsjourney77 says:

Yeah, it can be VERY difficult lately as Bella is always rolling over and crawling away during diaper changes. But as you get more used to putting the diapers on you can get really good at it and do it pretty quickly! But it’s always gonna be a challenge with a wiggly baby. ;)

  11. natsjourney77 says:

Yes! You can use them as inserts too. But you should get them a size smaller than what you need, so they fit better as a liner.

    Thanks! :)

Thank you for this helpful video! Do you prefer a particular brand of prefold?

  14. duramaxmak says:

those prefolds you have are the greatest for dusting and cleaning with so remember to keep them once your baby is done with you will have them for years of cleaning
